St. Joseph's Hospital - Highland, IL
Since its founding in 1878, St. Joseph’s Hospital has served as the primary healthcare resource for Highland, Illinois and the surrounding communities.
St. Joseph’s Hospital is dedicated to carrying out the mission of the Hospital Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis by providing quality health care, compassion and service to all patients, the community and each other. What began as a small group of Sisters providing nursing care in private homes has grown into a multi-service acute care hospital.
Today, St. Joseph’s operates as a Critical Access Hospital in which medical staff members and hospital employees provide high quality patient care in a setting close to home. The hospital offers top-quality care including care to meet acute, skilled and residential care needs, as well as an extensive array of outpatient services. Education, prevention and wellness programs are provided through, and in addition to, the new Occupational Medicine Program.
St. Joseph’s Hospital is constantly seeking opportunities to enhance and expand services. By working closely with community leaders, physicians, employees and other facilities within Hospital Sisters Health System, the hospital continues to progress into the future.
A commitment to the community, a solid history of caring and healing, and a value system based on Catholic tradition, make St. Joseph’s a trusted and valued institution for Highland and the entire surrounding area.
