St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center
St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center was founded on religious values with a deep concern for the needs of the sick and the poor by the Misericordia Sisters of Montreal, Canada in 1900. The hospital’s commitment to providing quality health care continues today under the sponsorship of the Hospital Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis.
Serving the population of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and its surrounding area, St. Mary’s provides a wide range of acute care services. Its primary role is that of a community hospital with a highly developed outpatient/ambulatory care focus. The major service lines are the Bone & Joint Center, Center for Heart Health, A Woman’s Place, Family Birthing Center, Center for Digestive Health, FirstCare and Emergency Department. Together with its network partners, St. Mary’s strives to develop effective methods of delivering quality health care in a competitive regional environment.
A family-centered approach to health care is evident in the design of St. Mary’s patient care facility. All private rooms allow more comfortable conversation during family visits, and provide complete privacy during patient examinations.
The staff of St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center works each day to blend the advanced technology of healing with the personal touch their patients have come to know and expect. A hallmark long recognized in the community is the close and caring environment this size and type of hospital can provide, guided by the values of Care, Joy, Respect, and Competence.
