HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Wound Care Center, in partnership with Healogics, offers a comprehensive wound care program to manage chronic or non-healing wounds caused by diabetes, circulatory problems, and other conditions and specializes in advanced wound care, using a variety of clinical treatments, therapies and support services to treat chronic wounds.

The St. Elizabeth’s Wound Care Center is designed to complement the services offered by patients’ primary care physicians – in fact it can be thought of as an extension of their physician’s practice or patients may self refer. Upon referral, patients meet with our wound care management team, which includes physician specialists, certified or specialty-trained wound care nurses, and other wound care experts. The team develops a treatment plan for each patient in partnership with their primary provider.

HSHS St. Elizabeth's Wound Care Center works with many departments in the hospital to offer an interdisciplinary approach to healing. Some of these areas include infectious care management, physical therapy, occupational therapy, laboratory evaluation, nutritional management, pain management, diabetic education and radiology.

For more information or to schedule an appointment or evaluation call 618-234-2120. Patients may be seen with or without a physician's referral.
