St. Vincent Hospital - Green Bay, WI
In 1888, four Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis – with humble resources, but an abundance of faith – began a healing mission among the people living in the Green Bay area. Their vision was a hospital built on charitable principles, but employing the finest medical practices of the day.
Today, St. Vincent Hospital has grown well beyond the Sisters’ early vision. It is Green Bay’s largest hospital and has emerged as a major healthcare institution providing high-quality general, acute, and selected tertiary health care services to Green Bay, Northeast Wisconsin and Michigan’s upper peninsula.
St. Vincent is a regional hospital providing specialized care in eight priority services: Regional Emergency Center; Regional Cancer Center; the Heart Center; the NeuroScience Center; the Orthopedic Center; Regional Pediatric Center; Regional Rehabilitation Center; and the Women’s Services. St. Vincent Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center, a Primary Stroke Center and a Chest Pain Center and provides a broad spectrum of outpatient services and clinics.
The heritage of healing so cherished by the four Sisters continues. St. Vincent Hospital is dedicated to providing personalized healthcare to all patients.
