Free GO! 217 Dance Workout Open to the Public on March 2

HSHS Good Shepherd and the Shelby County Senior Center are offering free fitness classes each month. The first dance workout class/sign-up event will be held Thursday, March 2 at the Shelby County Senior Center in Forest Park, starting at 7 p.m. Registration is not required. All ages are encouraged to come. The dance-style workout is designed for everyone. The event is free, and registration is not required. Bring a friend and drink – hydration is important!
The goal of GO! 217 is to keep our community moving and improve the overall health of everyone who lives in the 217 area code. This program is geared toward the cities where our Hospital Sisters Health System Central Illinois hospitals are located – Springfield, Decatur, Litchfield and Shelbyville. Free workouts will regularly be held on the first Thursday of each month in each of our HSHS central Illinois communities.
GO! 217 partners include HSHS St. John’s Hospital, the Springfield Park District, FitClub, Scheels, HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital, YMCA in Decatur, HSHS St. Francis Hospital, FIT-to-GO in Litchfield, and the Shelby County Senior Center in Shelbyville. Together we are all committed to helping our 217 communities improve their health and wellness through GO! 217.
