Please join us on Monday, July 3 at 10 a.m. as we come together for our first ceremony to honor our nation in prayer. The ceremony will be held on the hospital campus grounds across from the main entrance on 201 S. Pine Street.

The VFW Color Guard will also present the nation’s colors. Reverend Kevin Ray from the First Christian Church will lead the crowd in prayer, and Reverend Helmkamp from the Lutheran Holy Cross Church will offer a blessing. The crowd will be asked to participate in the Pledge of Allegiance and a shared patriotic reading.

As a special gift to those who attend, HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital will hand out flags. This ceremony will be brief and hold a message of hope for our nation.
