Don’t miss the most exciting, fun-filled evening in Shelby County! HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital is now taking reservations for the eighth annual Red Event.

Doors open for the Red Event at 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at the Best Bet Events at 316 West South Sixth Street, Shelbyville. The event will begin with a silent auction and cocktail hour and then progress to dinner and entertainment.

Guests will enjoy the clean ventriloquism, music and comedic act of Taylor Mason. Mason is originally from central Illinois. In 1990, he won the grand prize for Star Search which was hosted by Ed McMahon. Now, he is a veteran performer of music, comedy and ventriloquism who has been making people laugh for decades. He performs regularly for Disney and on stages all over the world.

At the Red Event, there will be a large silent auction to peruse and to bid upon, including exciting ticket packages, unique items, and many surprises. The cash bar will open during the cocktail hour and feature a variety of fine wines from Niemerg’s Family Winery and beer.

A reservation for this special evening will also include a tasty, catered dinner. The wait staff will include employees of the hospital will compete for tips. The wait staffs’ tips will be donated to the HSHS Good Shepherd Foundation.

This year’s event will be held at a new, larger venue. Reservations will cost $70.00 per person, or you can purchase a table for ten at $600.00. This year’s event will help the hospital build programs, extend lines of service and add the necessary equipment for HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital to continue to provide the best possible 24/7 care for you close to home.
