HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital invites the community to its emergency department and radiology open house on Monday, April 29 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Managers and colleagues will be on staff that evening to give tours of the newly remodeled departments. Aaron Puchbauer, president and CEO of HSHS Good Shepherd, will provide a short welcome at 5:30 p.m. and Father Nick Husain will share a blessing at 5:45 p.m.

“The newly remodeled emergency department and radiology areas have a new look. The emergency department now offers private rooms for our patients which is one of the most significant improvements of the remodel,” Puchbauer said. “I want to invite everyone to come and see all the new amenities at HSHS Good Shepherd. We have invested in the hospital to provide the best care for Shelbyville.”

The remodel allowed the hospital to make all rooms private and add a private waiting room along with consultation rooms for families, larger nurses station and updated radiology rooms as well as provide easier access for staff to supplies in the medication room.

The open house will take place in the cardiac rehabilitation area. Parking is in the main hospital parking lot. Please enter through the registration main doors, and we will have colleagues on hand to guide you to the event.
