SHELBYVILLE, IL – Illinois Senator Chapin Rose and Representative Brad Halbrook stopped by HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital to take a quick tour and to meet with CEO and President Aaron Puchbauer.

The congressmen listened to Puchbauer about the changes in hospital services and renovations as well as his plans for its future. They discussed some current health care legislation. Senator Rose and Representative Halbrook also congratulated the hospital as it nears its 100th birthday and listened to plans for the upcoming centennial celebration.

“We have so many exciting changes going on here, and it was an honor to share our good news with them,” Puchbauer said. “Representative Halbrook joined us for our blessing and has called on us several times since then. This was the first time I had the privilege of meeting Senator Rose. We appreciate that they took time from their busy schedules to visit with us.”
