In celebration of Halloween, HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital is holding a pumpkin decorating contest. Hospital colleagues were challenged to embellish a pumpkin to raise money for the hospital Relay for Life team. The contest has nine pumpkins entered and can be found in our main registration area.

You may choose between pumpkins dressed as Cinderella’s coach which are complete with mice drivers, troll pumpkins, pumpkins masquerading as snacks, Nurse Pumpkin, a teal caterpillar and several other creative gords.

The public is asked to participate by voting for their favorite pumpkin. Each vote costs a penny. And if you would like to own one of these beautiful jack-o-lanterns for your Halloween party, you are welcome to bid on it via our silent auction. Voting and bidding are open until Monday, October 23 at noon.

The winner will be announced by 2 p.m. on Monday. Winners of the silent auction will be notified and may pick up their pumpkins at that time.

All proceeds will go to the HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital Relay for Life team to help fund the fight against cancer.
