HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital is proud to announce it has upgraded its mobile MRI equipment with extended hours. MRI imaging are now available on Monday afternoons and all day on Thursdays.

HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital now offers the MRI GE 1.5T magnet to provide patients with the ultimate in image quality and clarity.

MRIs provide a noninvasive imaging alternative that does not require radiation exposure for the patient. This technology’s superior ability to provide contrast in soft tissue images allow physicians to more accurately diagnose conditions and can result in quicker treatment times with a higher rate of successful treatment and patient recovery.

“We are working hard to provide our patients with the best imagery services available,” said Aaron Puchbauer, HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital president and CEO. “A patient may be referred for an MRI through their provider. Serving our patients with excellence and keeping the highest quality healthcare close to home is our number one priority.”
