HSHS Good Shepherd and Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at HSHS Medical Group bringing awareness to diabetes during the month of November.

Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at HSHS Medical Group, physicians, advanced practice clinicians, dieticians and certified diabetic educators provide services to the HSHS Good Shepherd Specialty Clinic via telehealth twice a month for patients who have diabetes in the Shelbyville community.

“Education is power over diabetes. When patients truly understand their condition, they can prevent many of its complications,” said Melissa Schutz, MS, RD, LDN, CDE, CHWC (Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetic Educator).
