Colleagues at HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital come together every year to give back to their community. “Let the Mission Move You” was the theme of this year’s donation campaign.
Colleague’s donations to the foundation are used to purchase equipment for the hospital. The goal for fiscal year 2020 was to raise $12,000. The colleagues of Good Shepherd exceeded that goal. The money raised will go toward the purchase of a new bladder scanner for the hospital.
“We are so grateful for the donations we receive from the colleagues and community members,” said Jessica Tipton, human resources generalist at HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital. “The dollars help support the growth of the hospital and purchase new equipment for use in patient care areas.”
In fiscal year 2019, the colleagues voted on what they would like to see purchased for one of the departments of the hospital. A new vein finder was voted for by colleagues for the emergency department to assess patients quicker in emergent situations.
