Insurance

Depending upon the type of insurance and special policy terms you carry, your benefits may vary. We will do our best to ensure that you receive all benefits for which you are entitled. Any deductibles, co-insurance and non-covered services, which are the patient’s responsibility to pay, will be due upon discharge. Although we do accept assignment of insurance benefits, the entire bill is still your responsibility. If in 30 days from billing the hospital has not received payment from your insurance company, you are expected to make payment in full. If at a later time the insurance company pays the bill to the hospital, the hospital will refund to the guarantor any money due. We do offer convenient online bill pay which is a secure method to make a payment.

If you are in need of assistance, you may be eligible for the financial assistance program.

Medicare

The patient’s responsibility is any deductible, co-insurance and non-covered services by Medicare. Since Medicare billing is time consuming, upon discharge you will be expected to pay the deductible and non-covered charges. Co-insurance will not be determined until Medicare has paid after which any balance remaining will be billed to you.
