August Provider of the Month

Amanda Kilzer, APRN, has been named the August 2019 Provider of the Month at HSHS Medical Group. Amanda serves as an advanced practice registered nurse at HSHS Medical Group Family and Internal Medicine Maryville in Maryville, Illinois. Amanda has been with HSHS Medical Group since 2016.

Amanda was nominated by several colleagues who said, “Amanda is always kind, smiling and a joy to work with. She is competent and knows her job very well. She treats each patient with care and respect, carefully listening to all they have to say and letting them feel at home with her. She is compassionate with colleagues and patients alike and creates a positive work atmosphere.”

“I always try to treat my patients and coworkers as if they are my family, with kindness and respect,” Amanda said. She credits her grandmother as her inspiration; she “never gave up on anything and worked hard until the day she passed,” Amanda recalls.

Amanda’s interests are traveling, collecting Marilyn Monroe memorabilia and spending time with her family.
