Why did you choose a career in family medicine?
I chose a career in family medicine because I enjoy taking care of people of all ages and backgrounds.

What do you enjoy most about being in family medicine?
I get to help people make decisions about taking control of their lives and their health through education and guidance.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, riding motorcycles, watching Pittsburgh Steeler football, bowling and spending quality time with my family.

What is something that you want patients to know about you?

I started my nursing career from the bottom and worked my way up. I have walked in all footsteps of nursing from certified nursing assistant, licensed practical nurse, registered nurse, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and finally nurse practitioner. I have three boys and two granddaughters, and I relocated to Illinois from Pennsylvania to be close to my grandchildren.
