HSHS Medical Group Announces Heather Morgan, DO, as February Provider of the Month

HSHS Medical Group is pleased to announce Heather Morgan, DO, as our February provider of the month. Dr. Morgan is a Family Medicine Physician, serving patients at HSHS Medical Group Primary & Specialty Care, located at 670 Pierce Blvd. in O’Fallon. She takes pride in alleviating patients’ anxieties by addressing their current symptoms.

Dr. Morgan works in the same day clinic, available to HSHS Medical Group patients who need to be seen when their primary care provider is not available right away. She offers a unique perspective on patient care, having typically just met the patients she is seeing. She tries to learn a little about each patient during the visit, hearing about how their jobs, families or hobbies are affected by whatever is ailing them. This make patients more comfortable when they are seeing her for the first time. At times, Dr. Morgan has evaluated seemingly simple issues, such as a UTI or stomach ache, that resulted in the discovery of more complex and serious issues. Her knowledge and patient-first care mindset have saved lives – with patients coming back to the clinic just to sing her praises! HSHS Medical Group is honored to have Dr. Morgan on our team, leading by example in regard to patient first care. In Dr. Morgan’s spare time, she may be cooking, taking a walk or volunteering for a community event.
