HSHS Medical Group is pleased to award Aryn Peregrin with our February 2022 Colleague of the Month Award. Aryn is a registered nurse at HSHS Medical Group Family Health in Chatham.
The Colleague of the Month is chosen from nominations submitted by fellow HSHS Medical Group team members. “Aryn connects well with patients and their families, and quickly establishes a trusting relationship with them. She lives by the golden rule: treat others the way you would want to be treated,” says her nominator. “She provides excellent patient care every day. We are so lucky to have her at our clinic.”
Ayrn is described as a go-getter. Her nominator says, “Aryn responds to needs around the clinic in any way that she can. She has picked up several additional roles in the office and is always there to lend a hand.”
Aryn says her favorite part of her job is getting to see kids grow and develop over time. “I have the privilege of meeting newborns just days after birth and caring for them as they grow and learn so much through the first months and years of their life,” she says. “I form connections with their families from the beginning and feel proud to be able to watch them flourish into their own person.”
When asked how she lives the HSHS Mission and Core Values of Respect, Care, Competence and Joy, she said, “I appreciate each of our patients for choosing to see us for care and trusting their children in our hands, so I strive to form a connection that lets the family know we are always here for them if they ever need anything.”
When Aryn is not providing excellent health care, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family – her husband, two little girls and a third child on the way.
