HSHS Medical Group Awards Provider of the Month to Lesa Seales

HSHS Medical Group is pleased to award Lesa Seales with our August Provider of the Month Award. Lesa is an anesthesiology assistant at HSHS Medical Group Anesthesiology and Perioperative Services at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, Illinois. 

The Provider of the Month is chosen from nominations submitted by fellow HSHS Medical Group team members. “During this time of uncertainty, Lesa has maintained a smile on her face,” her nominator said. “I never see her without a smile, and I never hear her complain. She takes time to listen to those that are worried about caring for COVID patients. She never lets on that she is stressed or scared. She sends notes of encouragement and calls those that are off to see how they are doing. She is a rock for our department. Lesa is the best role model for our anesthesia department. Not only does she work hard for our group, but she provides excellent patient care. She is very personable and respected at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.”

“My favorite part of my job is seeing the smile on my patient’s face in recovery, when they realize surgery is complete and they are resting comfortably,” Lesa said. “My goal is to connect with each person I encounter each day and to treat them with care and respect.”

When away from work, Lesa enjoys fashion, mountain biking with her family and rehabbing her historical home.
