HSHS Medical Group Hand Surgeon Andres Lerner, MD, now performs surgeries at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Highland. 
 
As a skilled hand surgeon, Dr. Lerner’s scope of practice includes:

  • Injury/broken bone upper extremity

  • Ulnar nerve

  • Dupuytren’s percutaneous and open release

  • De Quervain’s tendonitis

  • Ganglion cyst

  • Hand/wrist fractures

  • Tendon and nerve laceration repairs

  • Elbow pain, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow

  • Tumor/mass/ganglion

 
Dr. Lerner received his medical degree from Maimonides School of Medicine in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed general surgery residencies at Julio Mendez Hospital in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. He performed a hand surgery fellowship at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Lerner is board certified in general surgery. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and producing original music.
