HSHS Medical Group Welcomes Christine Atchison, APRN

HSHS Medical Group is pleased to welcome Christine Atchison, APRN, to their team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians. Christine cares for patients age18 and older alongside Joan Covault, DO, and Emily Artime, PA-C. They are located at HSHS Medical Group Family Medicine – N. Main, 2965 N. Main St., Suite F, in Decatur, Illinois.
 
As an advanced practice registered nurse, Christine is a highly trained health care professional fully capable of diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, as well as managing medications. She has undergone rigorous training and credentialing to provide high quality care for patients.
 
Christine completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, she is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Illinois Society for Advanced Practice Nursing and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. In her free time, Christine enjoys camping, collecting rocks, fishing, hiking and photography.
