HSHS Medical Group is pleased to welcome Kristina Walick, MD, pediatric orthopedic surgeon, to their team of providers. Dr. Walick sees patients at HSHS Medical Group Children’s Surgical Services, located at 400 N. 9th St. in Springfield, Illinois.
 
As a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Walick specializes in the surgical treatment of musculoskeletal conditions in children. Board certified in pediatric orthopedics, Dr. Walick is a member of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America and the Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
 
Dr. Walick completed her medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She completed an orthopedic residency with Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. She also completed the Dorothy and Bryant Edwards Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics and Scoliosis - Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, Texas. In her free time, Dr. Walick loves to run and ride mountain and road bikes, likes to draw and paint and enjoys theater and ballet.
