HSHS Medical Group and HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese are excited to announce the reopening of their clinic in New Baden, now called HSHS St. Joseph’s Health Center – New Baden.
Three nurse practitioners will offer both primary and walk-in care at the clinic, located at 211 East Hanover Street in New Baden, IL. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 6:30 pm and Saturday, 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Jessica Freeman, APN, completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, IL. She is a certified family nurse practitioner by the American Nurse Credentialing Center. Freeman is a member of the American Nurses Association and Illinois Society of Advanced Practice Nursing.
Allison Miller, APN, completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL. She is a certified family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. Miller is a member of the Illinois Society of Advanced Practice Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Mallory Rinderer, APN, completed bachelor’s degrees with Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL, and Illinois State University in Normal, IL. She earned her master’s degree in nursing at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL. Rinderer is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
The American College of Physicians acknowledges the critical role nurse practitioners (NPs) play in improving access to care. NPs and physicians have common goals of providing high-quality, patient-centered care and improving the health status of those they serve. As primary care providers, the nurse practitioners at New Baden will care for patients of all ages and offer a variety of services, including minor procedures, general wellness care, well-child exams, well-woman exams and chronic illness management.
