HSHS Medical Group and Prairie Cardiovascular will host an open house and blessing ceremony to celebrate their new location at 1745 W. Walnut St., Jacksonville, IL 62650 on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 6 pm. The new 14,000 square foot building will be home to HSHS Medical Group Family Medicine and Foot & Ankle Specialists, currently located at 1515 W. Walnut St. in Jacksonville, as well as specialists with HSHS Medical Group Neurosciences and Pediatrics, Prairie Cardiovascular and Midwest Allergy Sinus Asthma. Providers will begin seeing patients in the new location on July 16, 2018.
Providers at the new location will include: Allen Gerberding, MD (family medicine); Kellie Stocker, APRN (family medicine); Tamara Breckon, APRN (family medicine); Rosemary Herzberger, APRN (family medicine); Jeffrey Fleischli, DPM, FACFAS (podiatry); John Fleischli, DPM, FACFAS (podiatry); and Terese Laughlin, DPM, FACFAS (podiatry). Visiting specialists will include HSHS Medical Group providers: Todd Elmore, MD, FAAN (adult neurology); Gordon Chu, MD, MSc, FRCS(C) (adult neurosurgery); Erin Blackburn, MD, FAAP (pediatrics); Gopinathan Nambiar, MD, FAAP (pediatrics); and cardiologists with Prairie Cardiovascular, including Nasar Nallamothu, MD, FACC; Holly Novak, MD; and Angela LaFrenz, APRN. Dareen Siri, MD, FAAAAI, FACAAI, allergist, with Midwest Allergy Sinus Asthma will also offer services in the new location.
The ceremony will include remarks from Sonya Jones, HSHS Medical Group outreach representative; Andy Ezard, Mayor of Jacksonville; Marc Shelton, President of Prairie Cardiovascular; Melinda Clark, CEO of HSHS Medical Group; and Loren Hughes, MD, President of HSHS Medical Group. Father Dominic Rankin of the Diocese of Springfield, Illinois will perform the blessing and members of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce will participate in a ribbon cutting.
HSHS Medical Group continues to bring primary and specialty care services to patients of all ages. The new center will offer advanced imaging, including MRI and x-ray, in addition to lab services. HSHS Medical Group Foot & Ankle Specialists offers care to patients with foot and ankle concerns, including surgery.
Prairie Cardiologists will offer cardiology and APP appointments, EKGs, KardiaPro remote monitoring and echocardiography.
