HSHS Medical Group's “Health Today” Program Features Guy Venuti, MD, Pediatrician
December 4, 2018
HSHS Medical Group’s newest “Health Today” episode features Guy Venuti, MD, a board-certified pediatrician at HSHS Medical Group Pediatrics in O’Fallon, IL. Dr. Venuti and his care team are proud to deliver patient-first care.
According to Dr. Venuti, “We deliver patient-first care by ensuring that every patient’s goals are not only met but exceeded. When a patient and family come in for an appointment they are going to meet my skilled care team. Soon they realize that this is a visit they’re going to want to repeat in the future. I provide care in a Christ-centered way where every patient can spend as much time as needed with the physician—rather than worrying about how long the physician is going to be in and out of the office.”
Dr. Venuti earned his medical degree from Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. He completed his pediatric residency at University of California - Davis, in correlation with Travis Air Force Base in Sacramento, CA. Dr. Venuti is board certified in pediatric medicine.
Dr. Venuti concludes, “The thing that I find most rewarding about being a pediatrician is the impact I can have on the life of a child and the family. I’ve had some families say to me that if it wasn’t for me their child may not be here. If I can make a difference in that child’s life where they can grow up happy and healthy, then I feel like I have done what God has called me to do and I’ve ministered to those children through Him and through my medicine.”
Dr. Venuti cares for patients at HSHS Medical Group Pediatrics - O'Fallon, located at 670 Pierce Blvd. Ste. 200, O’Fallon, IL. Dr. Venuti offers convenient office hours Mon-Fri: 8 .m. – 4 p.m. For more information, call (618) 206-2088.
