According to Dr. Taylor, “We integrate your primary care with prevention and also specialists when needed—ensuring that every member of the care team is on the same page. My staff and I deliver Patient-First Care by listening to a patient’s problems. We want to make sure that we listen carefully and address a patient’s needs in one appointment when possible.”
Dr. Taylor earned his medical degree from Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University in Huntington, WV. He completed his family medicine residency at 375th Medical Group USAF/Saint Louis University in Belleville, IL. Dr. Taylor is board certified in family medicine and is a DOT medical examiner.
“If I could give my patients one piece of advice to help maintain their health I would emphasize prevention. For example, immunizations are the biggest opportunities in health care today and are one of the best tools we have to help prevent disease. Following that, hygiene and exercise are extremely important. As long as you are maintaining a healthy lifestyle balance and exercising regularly, the big things that I can offer you are typically not in the form of pills and medication but include advice and trying to prevent disease before it even happens.”
