Why did you choose a career in family medicine?

I chose a career in family medicine because I enjoy full-spectrum medicine. My patients are like family to me, and I enjoy helping them meet their health goals.

What do you enjoy most about being a doctor?

The thing that I enjoy most about being a doctor is the satisfaction of meeting my patients' needs and seeing them improve their health outcomes.

Why did you decide to return to the Decatur/Mt. Zion area to practice medicine?

I returned to Mt. Zion because I am familiar with the community, and this is my hometown. Also, my family, like most of the community, had the privilege of being cared for by Dr. Brown and Dr. Smith. It's a full-circle moment for me. I'm really excited to be able to work with the people who cared for my family and friends.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to stay active in my free time. I enjoy running outdoors with friends, hiking or home decor projects. I like to stay busy!

What is something that you want patients to know about you?

I want patients to know that I will listen to and work with them in meeting their health goals. I strive to give them the best care.
