Scott Bilyeu, MD, and Melissa Edwards, APRN, now see patients at HSHS Medical Group Family & Sports Medicine – Mt. Zion, which is located at 4965 E. Lost Bridge Road in Decatur, Illinois.
 
Dr. Bilyeu, family medicine and sports medicine, earned his medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford, Illinois. He completed his family medicine residency at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis and a sports medicine fellowship at Michigan State University – Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Dr. Bilyeu is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine. He is also a credentialed ImPACT consultant. Dr. Bilyeu is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
 
Melissa, an advanced practice registered nurse in family medicine, received her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky.
