Carol Dodson named Chief Nursing Officer at HSHS Holy Family Hospital

(GREENVILLE, IL) – HSHS Holy Family Hospital is pleased to announce that Carol Dodson has been named their Chief Nursing Officer. She will begin her new role on February 5, 2018.
Dodson most recently served the Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) Southern Illinois Division as the Patient Experience Facilitator. In this role, Dodson worked closely with Division leaders to identify, plan, and implement patient experience improvement strategies. She has also been instrumental in the rollout and sustainment of the “I Promise” Program, educating colleagues across the Division on the importance of the Mission and legacy of the Sisters that all colleagues are called to carry forward into the future.
Prior to serving the Southern Illinois Division, Dodson served at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham as the Patient Experience Facilitator, and at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur as their Chief Nurse. She has been with HSHS for over 35 years.
