(GREENVILLE, IL) –HSHS Holy Family Hospital recently presented the Bond County EMS Team with the Save Award. The Save Award is presented to Paramedics who have performed the extraordinary effort to save a patient in a pre-hospital setting. This year, the entire team was awarded for their efforts.

“In years past, we have identified an individual or a small group to be given the Save Award. Looking back on 2017, we decided that the whole team deserved to be recognized for their expertise in saving patients before arriving at the hospital. We are very proud of this group, and their passion and dedication to saving lives has not gone unnoticed,” said Chris Wagner, EMS/Emergency Manager.

Bond County Emergency Medical Services (BCEMS) is located at Holy Family Hospital in Greenville. They provide district residents with the most comprehensive medical emergency response team possible. BCEMS also offers educational programs in schools, organizations and churches on how to respond to an emergency.
