Greenville, Ill. – One of Greenville’s largest – and potentially most life-saving – annual events took place on Friday, March 17. HSHS Holy Family Hospital’s 2017 Health Fair was attended by more than 1,000 people. The popular event featured over 40 vendors and was made possible by more than 75 volunteers and staff.
“I’m proud of our greater Greenville community members for taking an active step to enhance their health by joining in this year’s Health Fair activities,” said Brian Nall, HSHS Holy Family Hospital’s President and CEO. “I’m also grateful for the staff and volunteers that joined together to conduct the Health Fair. This large-scale event is quite an undertaking and would not be possible without their help and dedication.”
The hospital has hosted this event for more than 30 years, and, once again, this year’s event featured some new additions. WGEL even hosted a live radio remote from the event, interviewing community members, medical experts, volunteers and participants.
