Foundation and Professional Development Scholarship Applications 

The Scholarship Program and Colleague Development/Conference Support is made possible through the generosity of benefactors who have provided gifts in support of the educational advancement of our colleagues in Western Wisconsin. The program has been established to assist colleagues who are pursuing academic, associate or vocational degrees in health care professions, primarily nursing.

Eligibility

This scholarship program is open to full-time or part-time colleagues in good standing at HSHS Sacred Heart or St. Joseph's Hospitals who are continuing their education at an accredited college or university, certifications, ongoing professional development and conference assistance in health care professions.

  • The Scholarship Committee will review information provided by the applicants and will select scholarship award recipients.
  • The academic record and the financial need of applicants will be given consideration in the awards process.
  • Scholarship awards will be made in accordance with the intent of donors who provided scholarship funding.
  • Scholarships are awarded for Fall 2023 + Spring 2024 and if graduate before Fall 2023, you are not eligible.

Application Requirements

  • Fully completed scholarship application form
  • Current academic transcripts
  • Commitment to personally thank the donor who contributed to the scholarship (a template can be provided).

Important Dates

Application period closes March 31, 2023

Funding will be awarded for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semester (Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted)
