National Nurses Week, May 6-15

National Hospital Week, May 8-14

Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls, Wis.  –  HSHS Sacred Heart and St. Joseph’s hospitals are celebrating National Nurses Week (May 6-12) and National Hospital Week (May 8-14) by recognizing and thanking our dedicated health care professionals. Hospital colleagues provide exceptional patient care and demonstrate the HSHS values of respect, care, competence and joy daily.

“We are extremely proud of our team of colleagues who uphold the Hospital Sisters’ mission and serve our communities with their expertise and compassion,” says HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital President and CEO, John Wagner.

HSHS hospitals recognize the difficulties colleagues have faced, and continue to work through, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Andy Barth, HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital President and CEO says it’s important for hospital colleagues to know they are valued and deserving of special recognition.

“Hospital staff in all areas are vital to our hospitals’ success and to our communities’ health and well-being,” says Barth. “Celebrating them this week brings smiles of gratitude.”

HSHS Sacred Heart and St. Joseph’s hospitals are comprised of nursing professionals, security personnel, health technicians, food service colleagues, support staff, spiritual care colleagues, environmental services professionals and more. All, working together, help to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients and their families.
