OakLeaf Clinics, an independent, physician-owned medical practice, and Hospital Sisters Health System, which includes HSHS Sacred Heart and St. Joseph’s hospitals, have established a formal affiliation, effective January 2.

“We are excited to strategically align with OakLeaf Clinics to provide high-quality, coordinated care in the Chippewa Valley,” said Andy Bagnall, president and CEO of HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital and HSHS Western Wisconsin Division. “The collaboration reflects a commitment to provide expanded access to care and a continued focus on growing the provider base in the Chippewa Valley.”

The physicians of OakLeaf Clinics have been a driving force for improving the quality of care in the Chippewa Valley for more than 40 years and have had a long-standing relationship with both hospitals for decades.

“This affiliation builds on an already strong relationship and collaboration between our health care organizations,” said Dr. Chris Longbella, president of OakLeaf Clinics. “Our mission and commitment to our patients remains the same. We are dedicated to providing our patients with compassion, trust and a lifetime of individualized care.”

OakLeaf Clinics includes Eau Claire Medical Clinic, Eau Claire Women’s & Family Care, OakLeaf Pediatrics, Pine Grove Family Medicine, Southside Medical Clinic and Southside OB/GYN.
