Qualifications to be an Advisor

You can be an advisor if you or a family member received care at Sacred Heart Hospital in the last 3 years. Your experience as a patient or family member is valuable, as are your ideas about how we can improve the care we provide.

What do patient and family advisors do?

If you are an advisor for our hospital, you can help us in the following ways:

  • serve on a patient and family advisory council

  • share your story

  • participate in discussion groups

  • review or help create educational or informational materials

  • work on short-term projects—for example, helping to plan and design signage
