Community Health Needs Assessment
Every three years, HSHS St. Mary's Hospital conducts a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to identify the top community health needs and local resources to address those needs. Based on the CHNA, the Hospital provides millions of dollars of Community Benefit programs and services annually. Programs supported by HSHS St. Mary's Hospital help the hospital to improve access to health care services, enhance the health and wellness of the community, and advanced medical or health care knowledge. These efforts, collectively known as community benefit, are outlined in the hospital's annual Community Benefit report (available below).
