(EFFINGHAM, IL) – HSHS Hospice Southern Illinois is pleased to announce that Julie Ohnesorge, RN, was recently named the new HSHS Hospice Manager.  As manager, Ohnesorge assists in the daily operation of the Hospice and Palliative Care programs in both HSHS Hospice’s Effingham and Belleville offices.
 
Ohnesorge began her career at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in November 2013 as a Home Care Registered Nurse. She was instrumental in the Hospice program development and for the last two years, has been working as a Clinical Coordinator for HSHS Home Care. Since February 2017, Ohnesorge has been serving as interim assistant manager role and has been actively assisting in day-to-day operations of the Hospice programs. 
 
Ohnesorge received her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Lakeland College and her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
