Lymphedema Therapy

 

Lymphedema is an accumulation of lymphatic fluid in the body’s tissues that causes swelling, most often in an arm or leg. St. Anthony’s offers certified Lymphedema therapists who can perform Complete Decongestive Therapy, the gold standard medical treatment for adults and children. Lymphedema therapy is non-invasive and incorporates four essential elements:

  • Manual Lymph Drainage

  • Compressive Bandaging

  • Skin Care

  • Therapeutic Exercise

Occupational Therapy for the following conditions:

 
  • Hip and Knee Joint Replacement

  • Stroke Rehabilitation/Traumatic Brain Injury/Spinal Cord Injury
