(O’FALLON, IL) – On Wednesday, May 29, HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, in partnership with the O’Fallon Public Library, is hosting a free Cancer Education event. The event will take place from 6-7 p.m. in Community Room at the O’Fallon Library at 120 Civic Plaza, O’Fallon and is open to the public.
Alison Tindall, MHA, BSN, RN, LSSBB and Director of Business Development and Service Lines for St. Elizabeth’s Hospital will be the featured speaker for the presentation. She will provide information about cancer prevention, advanced treatment technologies and will additionally highlight the services which will be coming to St. Elizabeth’s new Cancer Care Center opening early 2020.
“St. Elizabeth’s Hospital is pleased to partner with the O’Fallon public Library to offer important cancer education to our community,” notes Tindall. "St. Elizabeth’s serves as the only American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer designated cancer program in the southwestern Illinois service area, so we are excited to offer this educational information as well as help raise awareness and answer questions about the innovative, patient-centered cancer services that will soon be available in the region.”
