HSHS has COVID Vaccine Appointments Available to Community Members 18 years and older

Friday, March 26, the Illinois Department of Public Health authorized local health departments to expand COVID vaccine eligibility in an effort to address first signs of a possible resurgence of the virus. St. Clair and Madison County health departments have determined that vaccine clinics can begin to offer the vaccine to more community members to use doses currently available.

HSHS Medical Group and HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital have COVID vaccine appointments available in O’Fallon and Edwardsville for persons 18 years and older who live or work in Illinois to receive the vaccine. At this time, area HSHS locations are offering Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

How to Make an Appointment
For a COVID vaccine appointment, the public can sign up for our online patient portal called MyChart. It is free and easy to create an HSHS MyChart account:

  • Go to www.hshsmyhealthrecord.com
  • Login or Create a MyChart account by clicking “Sign Up Now.”
  • Under Quick Links, click “COVID-19 Vaccine Link.”
  • Click “COVID-19 Vaccination” and answer questions on eligibility to schedule a FIRST DOSE vaccine appointment.

If appointments are full, please check back as additional days and times will be added based available vaccine supplies and clinic days. We continue to appreciate the public's patience during vaccine roll outs. All vaccine clinics are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. NO WALK-INS.
