ImpactLife and HSHS St. Francis Hospital are asking all eligible donors to make an appointment for blood donation to help support the local blood supply. The public can make a difference by giving blood locally to help people in your community at an upcoming blood drive hosted by HSHS St. Francis Hospital and ImpactLife on October 19.

The blood drive will be on from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m in the mobile donor bus outside the hospital at 1215 Franciscan Drive in Litchfield, IL. 

All donors MUST make an appointment, no walk-ins. To schedule a donation time, call 800-747-5401 or log on to www.bloodcenter.org. All donors will also be required to wear a mask and present a photo ID. 

Everyone donates will receive their choice of a retro t-shirt or a voucher to redeem for an electronic gift card.

A blood donor can give every eight weeks, or up to six times a year. The last date to donated elsewhere and still be eligible for this drive is August 24, 2021. All person’s age 17 and up (or 16 with a signed parental permission form) who weigh at least 110 lbs. and are in general good health meet the basic eligibility requirements for blood donation.
