Tata Vega will join Robby and Rex at the Robinson Brothers Concert II on October 5. Due to a conflict, Alita Allen cannot attend the event and Tata will join us during the evening. Oscar & Grammy winner, TATA VEGA is one of the great voices in Gospel music. Following 4 albums on Motown she became the featured soloist for the legendary Andrae Crouch. In 1985 she landed on the charts with a duet with Lou Rawls. Later in the decade she was the singing voice of Shug Avery in The Color Purple.

Besides her many solo albums she has been one of premier backup singers in the business, having sung backing vocals for countless artists including Michael Jackson, Elton John, Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Ray Charles and Natasha Beddingfield. She was featured with some of her singing sisters in the Oscar-winning movie TWENTY FEAT FROM STARDOM. We are so excited to bring Tata’s inspiring voice to Litchfield! https://www.stfrancis-litchfield.org/Concert
