HSHS St. John’s Hospital will be collecting diapers and wipes for the babies in our Beyond the NICU program. Beyond the NICU is a home care program to help premature babies and their families make a smooth transition from the hospital to home in both the Springfield and Decatur areas. The hospital is accepting all diaper sizes but has a great need for sizes 2-5.

Drop-off locations will be Thursday, Dec. 5 and Friday, Dec. 6 at the following locations:

  • St. John’s Women and Children’s Clinic, 400 N. 9th St.; 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  • Sam’s Club, 2300 W. White Oaks Dr. and Wal-Mart on South Sixth St.; 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Monetary donations will also be welcomed. Financial support for Beyond the NICU is provided by HSHS St. John’s Hospital Foundation.
