HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital Provides COVID-19 Time Capsule Booklets
April 23, 2020
HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital posted a COVID-19 time capsule booklet on its website and Facebook page. The 12-page booklet provides a creative outlet for children and adults to document what is going on during the COVID-19 pandemic. It focuses on self-reflection, coloring and drawing. The time capsule also highlights the children’s hospital mascots, CJ and Joey, and beneficial COVID-19 facts.
“The experience of living during the time of COVID-19 is something our kids will be sharing with their grandchildren,” said Megan DeFrain, parent and HSHS St. John’s Hospital board member. “At our house, the CJ and Joey Time Capsule allowed our girls to express the feelings they have right now, capture facts and moments they’d like to remember, and stay focused on the present and ways we’re all still connected, even during quarantine. We hope other families use this fun activity to document this moment in time with their kids!”
The booklet can be downloaded from the children’s hospital website link below.
