SPRINGFIELD —HSHS St. John’s Community Pharmacy, which opens today, is a full-service pharmacy that offers an easy way to fill medications upon discharge or after an appointment. It also offers a large selection of over-the-counter medications.

St. John’s Community Pharmacy is conveniently located on the first floor of the Women and Children's Clinic on Ninth street, directly across from HSHS St. John's Children's Hospital.

“We are excited to offer this service to patients, colleagues and the public in this new, convenient location,” said Brandi Strader, pharmacy director at St. John’s. “We will be open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.”

The pharmacy accepts most major insurance companies, including Medicare and Medicaid. Cash, check, credit cards and FSAs accepted.
