St. John's Hospice Program
Living Life to its Fullest
Each of us is unique. We enter this world in a unique way and will leave it in our own way. At St. John's, we believe hospice is not a “place to come to die,” but rather a philosophy through which whatever remains of this life may be lived to its fullest.
We provide compassionate, specialized care to terminally ill patients and their families. HSHS St. John’s Hospice Program offers a team of physicians, registered nurses, medical social workers, supportive and spiritual counselors, personal care assistants, physical, occupational and speech therapists, registered dietitians and volunteers working together to provide individualized, compassionate care. In addition, our team offers support for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient and family.
Hospice care may be provided in the home, in a long term/skilled nursing facility or in a hospital setting and provides medically managed pain and symptom control.
