Police Emergency Blue Light Tower located on hospital campus
May 13, 2021
If you have been to the new Clinton County Rural Health building on Holy Cross Lane on the campus of HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese, you may have noticed a blue pole/tower with a blue light on top and the word “emergency” on it in the parking lot in front of the building.
This tower has been placed to help someone needing assistance from local law enforcement. Pressing the button on this tower connects the person to the local Breese Police Department. The blue light will help law enforcement officials to locate the individual in need. This emergency alert tower should be used only for non-health-related emergencies.
Those experiencing a health-related emergency should always dial 9-1-1. If you are on or near the St. Joseph’s Hospital campus and experiencing a health-related emergency, please go immediately to the emergency department entrance located off of Jamestown Road.
