A 90-inch by 109-inch mauve and blue 20-block quilt in an eight-pointed star pattern is one of two quilts on the Monday, March 20, raffle sponsored by the Auxiliary at HSHS St. Joseph’s in Breese. Showing off the full-size quilt is Auxiliary member Diane Lorence of Aviston. 
Also on the Spring drawing is a 34-inch by 41-inch cross-stitched alphabet quilt done in pastels on a white background. Tickets for both quilts are on sale at $1 each or six/$5 in the hospital Gift Shop and both quilts are on display across from the Gift Shop near the hospital Information Desk. Tickets will also be sold and the quilts displayed at the Auxiliary’s 15th annual Used Book Fair and Bake Sale Thursday through Sunday, Feb. 23-26, at the Breese American Legion. In addition, a silent auction quilt is in the Cafeteria Hallway with bids due by 3 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesdays and quilts of various sizes are for sale in the Gift Shop. The Gift Shop additionally stocks used books, seasonal and other merchandise and used books are for sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays in the Cafeteria Hallway except for holidays, hospital and/or Auxiliary events such as the Used Book Fair.
