(Breese, IL) – HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Mission Committee is holding their annual Christmas Wreath Silent Auction to share the Christmas spirit, allowing colleagues to demonstrate their artistic talents, and raise funds for the six Clinton County food pantries.  The Mission Committee provided each hospital department with a wreath to decorate in different themes and color schemes.  The wreaths will then be displayed in the hallways by the hospital cafeteria for all to enjoy.
The silent auction will start Wednesday, December 13 at 8 a.m., with final bids accepted on Monday, December 18 until 3 p.m.  Colleagues and community members are invited to participate in the Christmas Wreath Silent Auction by placing their bid and contact information on the forms by the wreaths. Community members should enter the hospital through the Specialty Clinic door, and follow the signs to proceed down the hallways to the cafeteria.
The wreaths will go to the highest bidder.  Winners will be notified and should make arrangements to pick up and pay for their winning bid by Friday, December 22. All proceeds from the silent auction will be divided among the six area food pantries in Breese, Carlyle, Germantown, Trenton, and two in New Baden.
