In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the Mission Team at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese sold pink ribbons for one dollar to raise money for the Cancer Care Closet at St. Joseph’s. Over $100 was donated to help provide items that will be purchased for patients undergoing chemotherapy.

Pictured in front of the purchased ribbons left to right are Vicki Kloeckner, director of human resources; Chris Gebke, director of volunteer services; Sister Pamela Falter, OSF, manager of spiritual care; Jessie Zimmer, case manager; Barb Berndsen, social services; and Shelly Draper, executive assistant.

HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese celebrated the Feast Day of St. Francis on Monday, October 4. In honor of Saint Francis’ love for animals, St. Joseph’s colleagues collected donations during the month of October for the Clinton County Humane Society. Sister Pamela Falter, OSF, manager of spiritual care, is shown delivering the collected items.
